I am one of those people, and that's exactly how I feel after taking a sip of this Spiked Mulled Wine.
Mulled Wine, traditionally called 'Wassail' by Old English and Old Norse folktales, is a spiced alcoholic beverage.
Typically it is filled with spices, herbs, and chunks of fruit served warm.

Mulled wine is mostly used as a celebratory drink around Christmas time.
It is considered an ale in some cultures, and cider in others.
Mulled Wine is served in overly large punch bowls alongside items such as Honey Baked Ham or dips.
Traditionally it is given to partygoers who are up for a round of good cheer and caroling, which is considered 'wassailing'.
Which is another way the drink became known as Wassail.
In our take on this brew, we paired cranberry grape, and orange juice with classic staples such as cinnamon sticks, and brown sugar to make this wine come alive.
We opted for a strong bourbon for the' zing' and topped it off with star anise (a licorice-tasting fruit) and allspice to give it that bold, spicy flavor that people know and love this drink to have- all while simmering in a slow cooker.
If you are new to trying Mulled Wine, then you won't be disappointed.
